At Hathaway, we’re committed to providing a “home away from home” for your child, where they can feel secure, happy, and supported in our beautiful nursery.
We think of ourselves as a Nursery Family, with mixed age groups that allow your child to learn from older peers and then help guide younger ones. Our nurturing team serves as fantastic role models, teaching respect and teamwork through their own actions.
Every week, your child will enjoy sports sessions — a fun and energetic program designed to keep them active and healthy. We also provide delicious, freshly prepared meals every day, lovingly made by our on-site chef.
Located in a children’s centre, your family will benefit from a variety of support services and resources. We have strong links to all the local feeder schools and will be by your side to support you and your child as they transition to school.

Meet our manager
Valentina Negrea
Hello, I’m Valentina, the Nursery Manager at Hathaway. I am a qualified childcare professional with a strong foundation in education holding a specialised Diploma along with a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, and an Assessor Qualification in Early Years Education. My Level 3 and training that I have had, guides my approach to creating a child-centered, nurturing environment that encourages independence, curiosity and hands-on learning.
