Why Choose Hanwell?
At Hungry Caterpillars Hanwell, we have three separate gardens for each age group. Your child will spend time outside daily, exploring nature and we always bring some nature inside the nursery to explore together.
Our staff team are well versed in how to get nurture your child and bring the best out of them, ensuring your child leaves us ready for the next step in their life. We are a very inclusive family orientated nursery, and create a home-from-home environment for your child. We have families from all across Hanwell attending our beautiful and inspiring nursery.
We encourage your child to be independent, enjoy and work with your to ensure they will reach their full potential.

Rohini Takhar
My name is Rohini Takhar. I have been fortunate to be working in childcare for the last 25 years. I began my journey as a Nursery Nurse in 2000 and worked my way up to a Nursery Manager. For me, being a mother has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had and this ultimately led me to pursue a career in Early Years.

I am a mother of two and although they are now grown up they still remain at the centre of my universe. My passion is to make sure every child in Hanwell has the ability to reach their full potential and we as educators do everything we can to ensure this happens. I truly believe at the heart of every child are the parents and in order for each child to reach their full potential we all need to work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for all the children. This means we need to work closely with all parents / carers to establish and build strong parents relationships as we all know parents know their children the best. One way of promoting this is to ensure the nursery always feels warm and welcoming to all parents / carers and we have an open door policy whereby parents feel they are listened to and welcomed. I very much believe in this and look forward to seeing you all at Hanwell.
