About Hungry Caterpillar Acton

Our Acton nursery is purpose built and based in the grounds of John Perryn Primary School & Children’s Centre.

It is one of our smaller nurseries offering places for children aged 3 months to 5 years and therefore we have been able to create a real home from home environment. Our children centre location gives families access to a range of services, support and a monthly activity programme. We also have great links to all local feeder schools supporting children with transition.

The nursery is designed to take full advantage of an open plan layout and the wonderful light created by the wall of windows that leads onto our garden. Outdoor learning is important which is why we encourage children to be outside at every opportunity and in addition run regular Forest School sessions for our pre-schoolers. Children also enjoy weekly French lessons, musical movement sessions and local outings which broaden the children’s view on the world.

We place an emphasis on working in partnership with you and give you the opportunity to join our Parent Forum. We hope you will feel part of our homely nursery and your child’s care even when you’re apart.

How to find us:
Turn left from the A40 onto Old Oak Common Road, Long Drive is the third turning on the left. The nursery is on your right within John Perryn School and Children Centre. Our entrance is on the far right of the school building. There is road side parking.
